    Wrong Cmos Setting

        Hi Everyone,

    I NEED HELP i got a WRONG CMOS SETTING everytime i  unplug my pc from power and bootup again. i change a new  cmos battery and clear the cmos but i will show it again.im trying to re install my os but it show it again.

    WRONG CMOS SETTING.  what does it maens?what problem cause of this?

    my pc info:

    MOTHERBORD- asus k8n
    PROCESSOR  - amd athlon 2.0
    VIDEO CARD - ati redeon 9550
    MEMORY       - DDR1 1G 400

      anyone can help me how to fix this problem

    Remove all power...
    Remove the CMOS battery...
    Wait 10 minutes...
    Replace the battery...
    Re-boot.

    What new hardware did you put in this machine recently ? ?

      i already do what you said.but still show up.i not put any hardware of this pc .actually i just buy this pc from my friend pawnshop,i didn't know that this pc is got a problem.
       
       maybe they put some new hardware and she got a problem.

      Repeat the procedure i listed...
      Also get another new CMOS battery...i've seen them dead/weak right out of the package.
