    « on: October 26, 2009, 02:38:58 PM »
Windows XP Pro, installation in English but the "welcome" page is in in Spanish; same problem with page 2 or logon page, after those pages everything is in English; How do I put the first pages into English? Thanks!

I have a laptop and my hardisk went; I do consulting and I'm in Lima Peru; the installation was done by a local Tech support and I requested the installation in English; just about everything is in English but the first 2 pages. Thanks!

Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options

Under the 'Regional Options' tab, make sure "Standards and formats" is set to English (United States) and that "Location" is set to United States.

Under the 'Advanced' tab, make sure "Language for non-Unicode programs" is set to English (United States).
