Hi everyone,
I have a pretty new Sony VAIO laptop (I bought it in May). Just starting yesterday, it's been making weird noises, which seem to come from the bottom of the computer (if I put my hand underneath I can feel slight vibrations). The sound goes on and off--it would go on for a couple seconds or up to a few minutes, then stop for a little bit, and begin again. The sound itself...well how do I describe it. It's like this whirring, like a fan? Do you suppose the fan is broken (only my guess, I don't know much about computer issues)? What should I do?
