We need more information to determine if something other than a computer virus is the cause.
Please tell us: What changes were made (if any) prior to this behavior? Did you install a new program or did your anti-virus program detect a threat? Have you added a new CD drive or expansion card or other device? Have you noticed any error messages? (if so, what did they say)? Have you noticed that scan disk has been checking your hard drive when you restart your computer? (if so, has it detected any bad sectors)? What operating system are you using?
