Program Opening Problem
« on: November 09, 2009, 12:40:14 AM »
Aloha everyone,

When I try to open software programs on my PC I get 2 other programs (Easy CD/DVD Creator & Turbo Tax) attempt to open, repeatedly in succession. I have to cancel those programs repeatedly before the program I wanted to open finally opens. I have removed both programs from my hard drive but the problem persists.

Can someone offer a solution? Thank you all for your time and consideration.

What happens if you let them open? Do you get a error?

What led up to this (what is different between the last time things worked right and the first time they did not)?

Microsoft has a registry cleaner  at  the following location:

http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/cleanup.htm

You need to use the IE browser.  Firefox will not work.

I would not clean the registry either.  It will not help and it might hurt.

And remember many users suffered set backs  when Microsoft stopped supporting Win98.

And also remember many cars older than fours years no longer have a warranty.

We can no longer use those cars.

All products are no longer useful when there is no support from the manufacturer.

Thanks for the heads up tip.

You are now treading a fine line bill...
I'd be careful.
