PLEASE HELP- MOTHERBOARD WON'T AACCEPT ANY OPERATING SYSTEM, TRIED 98, XP, 2000.  IT GOES INTO SETUP UTILITY, BUT BEFORE OPERATING SYSTEM IN COMPLETELY ON THERE, IT WILL REBOOT AND NEVER MAKES IT THROUGH ALL OF THE SETUP.  MATSONIC, INTEL 865PE CHIPSET PENTIUM 4

Amy, lets start with this... Please stop using all CAPS... It shows that you are yelling at us and is seen as "rude"... Now, have you tried to Fdisk the drive before installing?

what hard drive have you got??  are any of these disks upgrade......or are they full versions.....more info on system.......>make model......do you get any error messages///or stop errors/blue screens...

Yes I did try fdisking the hard drives.I've tried using both types of HDS, sata and ides.no luck.There are no error codes,it just keeps rebooting half way thru.Yes i did address the cooling and that is not a factor.I've tried different kinds of memory too,it makes no difference.any suggestions , this is driving me crazy

If you have more than 1 hard drive try unpluging the second 1 and same with the optical drives that is if you have more than 1.

Have you reformatted the Hard Disk Drive first?

Are these legal OS?

Yes i have reformatted the hard drives.and i am only using 1 hard drive at a time in the system.

go into the bios setup del key chose setup defaults option save and exit.......
