Acronis True Image has multiple compression options. Go into the options screen before burning.

        Wind - Windows? Really?

So, your Documents folder is part of this image file? How large is your Documents folder?  If removing your Documents folder from the files being backed up to the disk image would alleviate this problem, why not just create a separate backup for your Documents folder?

You can disable system restore before doing the backup. That will get rid of your restore points which are undoubtedly taking a lot of space.

DVD size is 4.2G last time i checked....
          That's why it got kicked.

However if Acronis is used properly it has a built in spanning tool for more than 1 blank media...

Nope. The "1" is the key. It would still be "more than one blank medium" just as it would be "more than one item" or "more than 1 person", etc. Sorry - but nice try :)

DLoad ; install and try Macrium Reflect Home version...FREE.
I never had much luck with deepburner.

Other than that i'd buy Acronis...it'll be a good investment...Trust me.

Acronis True Image asks you where to save the image. At that point browse to your cd drive and save it there. Do NOT use any program other than Acronis True Image during the image creation and burning process.

There is no option to burn it. You have to point it to a location where you want it saved. If that location is a cd or dvd, it will automatically burn it as it is writing it.
