FDisk and MBR
« on: November 16, 2009, 11:01:58 PM »
Keep in mind that a Gateway Pentium 4 has no operating system.
1. Is it possible to boot into MS-Dos from a CD?
2. Is it possible to run Fdisk?
3. How do I delete the MBR?

If you have no operating system there is no MBR to delete.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

You can boot to a bootable cd, yes. If that bootable cd contains fdisk. exe then you can run fdisk.
