Why do you have two versions installed?

Was this "page" actually a PDF file on the website?

Can you open both versions of Adobe, separately, on your computer? Are they both listed on your programs menu?  Do you have shortcuts for both of them on your desktop screen?

There's still some doubt, in my view, whether you actually have two versions installed.  If you're using Windows XP, open your Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs, and confirm whether you see one version there or two.
