Deleting a desktop icon to a file w/ a long name &
« on: June 19, 2005, 06:12:00 PM »
I need to know how to delete a desktop shortcut icon to a JPEG file with a very looooooooong name. When I rt. click the icon and choose delete, an error message appears that reads, "Cannot delete file. The filename you have chosen is either invalid or too long. Specify a different name." Windows does not allow me to rename the icon for the same reason. The JPEG file has been deleted, but the desktop shortcut remains.

HELP!
