    Bent Pin on CPU
    « on: November 19, 2009, 04:19:08 PM »
Okay, So I was being a bumbling moron, dropped my CPU and bent one of the pins in the process, I know, great!  So am I totally screwed or is there a way to fix this?  Please someone bring me some good news.  Its an AMD Phenom II X4, so its a little devastating.  Please help, someone.

    Be careful...
Best method i've used is a credit card ( preferebly the one you won't have to use for a new CPU )...and use small gradual bends...not all at once...let it rest a few minutes between tweaks.

Best of Luck...bring us good news.
