I wasn't sure if this was the best forum for this question, but oh well:

Does the Radeon 5870 Graphics Card support PhysX? I know PhysX is an Nvidia thing, but I've noticed quite a few games that have "PhysX exclusive" features, like dynamically destructible environments or more realistic weather effects etc. I really want to get this card, but it would be nice if I could get the extra PhysX features as well.

Personally I'm not even sure exactly what PhysX entails; From what I understand it was developed by Ageia, and they were bought by NVidia; this would mean that Nvidia holds the exclusive rights to PhysX.

I'm not 100% in this but they MIGHT still make PhysX cards.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

You878, here is an article that I found that might give some insight into this.

It doesn't appear that the support is official, but it does seem to be possible.
