Avast reaches 100,000,000 users

This morning, around 8 a.m. EST, I received a notice on my computer screen that Avast had surpassed 100,000,000 users.  I don't see this on their website yet.  I presume it will be announced there soon.  They were having a promotional campaign.  Per http://www.avast.com/eng/news.html:

"avast! Free Antivirus, the world’s most popular antivirus software, is planning a special surprise for its 100,000,000th user.

The lucky person will get much more than a confirmation email after registering their copy of avast! Free Antivirus. He or she will get an all expenses-paid trip to Prague – the historic capital of the Czech Republic and home to ALWIL Software, makers of the avast! antivirus programs."
 
So, apparently some very recent new user was the lucky person to win an  all expenses-paid trip to Prague.  I imagine we'll be seeing more news releases on this soon.

I love avast, its doing its function very well.

I tend to regard e-mails saying "You have won X, congratulations!" as Spam... i sure hope the lucky sod isnt like me
