Browser Problem?

I am using Windows XP and Internet explore 8.

I am getting 2 web page tabs in my browser, but I have only clicked on 1 of them, is this to do with file extentions?

I have also had a message on screen say "e. exe has a problem and needs to shut down"
My anti virus has found a Trojan Horse Downloader.Agent2.OCD
