network card uninstalled
« on: November 27, 2009, 02:23:49 PM »
Greetings - I am sorry to post this so naively - I am pretty much a computer illiterate person - I know how to use my PC but not to fix anything.

My PC was working online okay - really really slow but okay.  Someone suggested I use ccleaner to clean up my computer to see if it would run faster, so I tried it.  I am not sure if it was something I did wrong with this program or just my computer but when I was done my computer got disconnected from the internet.

When I diagnose the problem it says that windows cannot detect wired or wireless network card installed.

I have no idea how I uninstalled this nor do I have any idea how to re-install it.

Does anyone have any suggestions???

Go to START - RUN and type: devmgmt.msc (then press enter). Do you see any yellow exclamation marks?
