"Search Companion" Error

I Updated Windows 2 days ago. Since then the Search Companion Screen gives me this  error " A File that is Requiered to run the search copanion cannot be found. You may need to run set up". Any sugestions on how to fix this without using windows set up.

So Now I Dont Have a Search Companion with i really need and use it a lot!!!!
(search companion is the application that the computer uses to search anything inside the computer "where the little yellow dog is at")
