office delema
« on: December 28, 2009, 08:00:31 AM »
Decided we really need to up-date from office 2003.  Should we buy office 2007, or  try OpenOffice 3.1.
Any suggestions?

Looking at various forums, it seems there is quite a bit of difference between the 03 and 07 versions.  That's why I thought about upgrading.  Then when I found OOo I thought..Why not and figured this was the place to get good feedback.

Looks like there are MANY more integrated things in word, and I seem to find more formulas and columns in excel.

Never ever consider about OpenOffice..or you'll witness further fall in the Staff Productivity!

Everyone will then have a decent time to relish a cup of Coffee till the document loads using OO, instead remain stick to Microsoft Office 2003. ;D

One needs to have a 'Robust'* machine to run Office 2007 as optimally to that to 2003!
