    Where does Mozilla Thunderbird stores Account settings?
    « on: December 29, 2009, 04:40:36 AM »
    Hello There! ;)

    Despite of completely removing Mozilla Thunderbird from my Hard Disk, on Re-installation, it fetches the same A/c. that I do not wanna see anymore! >:(

    Moreover, during the uninstallation it do not asks to remove "Personal settings", "Customizations" like that to its brother Mozilla Firefox.....? :-\

    How do I get rid of that particular email account, I configured inadvertently in a 'Wave' of thoughts?....

    Help...Help...Help... ???

    Try using Revo to uninstall it.

    delete the %appdata%\Mozilla\Thunderbird folder.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

      I found the way to get rid of that email A/c & all its respective emails. :)

      Here it goes:::

      Tools>>Account Settings>>Choose the A/c to be deleted in the left pane>>Choose the 'Account Options' at the bottom(Drop-down Menu)>>Remove A/c option is available!

      On the recommendation of REVO Uninstaller::

      I use the same as a 'Default' choice for every Uninstallation.A/c settings & Customizations remain unaffected unless that very options is present in the actual Uninstaler of the actual application.
