How can i change my displayed name in the "FR

Hi.I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to change how my name is displayed in the "From" line of my emails to people.Is it possible to keep it private?I would be happy just to have my first name shown only,as i am not to comfortable with my surname being displayed also.Thankyou.

Simply alter the settings for whatever E-mail provider you use.

This can be done either through Outlook or any other E-mail client. Or, in case of a web-based E-mail provider, through the configuration menu.

What E-mail service are you using?

Thanks very much for the reply.I am using "fsmail.net" at Wanadoo.
My usual email is Hotmail but i am using this one in regard to a "Surf For Cash" programme i am earning with. Ed

You should be able to change the sender name in the configuration menu. I can not be more specific as I have never seen the particulair E-mail service you make use of.
