HELP! I am also getting the message, "the application cannot be executed. The ...... file is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus?" My antivirus recently expired and I want to download the antivirus provided me by my internet carrier. However, I can't get online to download it. The message tells me it is unsafe to do so. I read the two other entries on this same subject and the posts from Super Dave. Wasn't sure I might be able to solve my problem in a similar way and need more advice. Would appreciate any help!
