    I'm putting new RAM in an older desktop.  Motherboard: ASUS A7M266, Chipset: AMD761, CPU: AMD Athlon XP.  I'm getting two 1GB DDR 184 Pin 266MHz 2.5V sticks.  What I don't know is the "PC ????" number?

    Best all around option for this is to visit Crucial's site and run the online scanner...
    You don't have to buy from them but it will tell you what you need...
    Meanwhile DLoad install and run Everest Home...

      Thanks, but the system is a basket case right now.  I just learned, however, that it's PC2100.  The bandwidth x 8.
