    « on: January 04, 2010, 03:02:24 PM »
I would like to know if it really makes a big difference the type of memory one has...
    I mean DDR2,DDR3 ect.ect.
Is it really meaningfull to install the latest\fastest memory...(If your com. can handle it.).
I have been told so many different things..
I run a Intell 2 core duo(E7300) 2.66Ghz computer...People have told me a comp. can run only a certain amount of memory,is this true...
My comp. seems to run 2 kinds of memory......WHY ?????????????
    All the best for 2010............Greetz:Eric.............

Eric1611, Really this is not an "opinion " topic for the most part. It is determined by the computer within which the memory is to be installed. Read the following and you will then have the basis of good decision making knowledge.truenorth

Travel to Crucial.com and run the online scanner...
Post back with which your MBoard supports and we can say if it's worth it or not.
