cannot connect to wireless network after xp install
    « on: January 05, 2010, 11:28:17 PM »
Had some serious issues with vista and a friend uninstalled vista and installed xp on my dell inspiron laptop to try and correct the problems. now it doesn't locate my wireless network. i tried hardwiring it directly to the modem, but it doesn't recognize the modem either. i figure i need to download new drivers for the wireless adaptor, but how do i get the thing online?

Did you download Vista drivers or XP drivers? Does Wireless Network Connection show up in Network Connections?
