internet explorer....jumps back to the previous web page on own

HELP!!!  This is so very frustrating!  When I am on-line, my computer will suddenly and with no warning jump back to the previous web page or reload a page without being told to.  This causes me to lose so much stuff and is just plain frustrating.

I have Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8.

I'd suggest running a full scan with BOTH your AV and MalwareBytes. Let us know the results.

My toshiba laptop has the keyboard layout so that the alt and the left arrow key are right next to each other. If you happen to hit both at the same time in IE Alt+left will take you back to the previous page. Not sure if that has anything to do with your problem, just thought I'd throw it out there so you don't start chasing a ghost.
