after installing ram it wasnt fixed properly so i switched on the computer all of a sudden i noticed some smell coming from the motherboard i straightly switched off the main power.i ralised that wasnt fixed properly.after fixing the the monitor remains blank.the motherboard light is on, the ram i tested is ok. whats the problem???

If you reinstalled it properly and it's still not working, RAM is damaged beyond repair and computer will not start.
