    Window's could not startup properly
    « on: January 10, 2010, 10:48:05 AM »
Well I was following the malware removal guide and used malwarebyte to remove the infections. I was then told to restart the computer, but now it's showing me a black screen with grey words saying windows did not start up properly. It gives me a few choices like start in safe mode, last known good config, and normally. I tried all of them, but it just keeps showing me this screen. Is there anyway I could get past this screen? Or should I have to reformat?

Thanks for the guide, but I just have a small problem, I can't get into safe mode...
I tried reformatting it, but it won't load the system recovery when I press F10.
I'm looking all over the internet for the recovery disk, but I don't want to order it online from Compaq's website.
Can anyone help me finding a recovery disk for the Compaq Presario SR1750NX?
