    Epson LX300+ II Problem

    sir, i would like to ask how can i fix this epson lx300+ II printer. when i turn it on is has a 5 beeps and the printer head didn't initialized. What i had observed with this before is that when i turn it on the head moves from left to right and vice versa. but this, it didn't move and after the 5 beeps the led flashes.

    printers...like computers....do a self check when they are turned on. Part of this is to check the motors and small paper sensors. It sounds to me like one of the sensors is covered or burnt out.

    I would try to open it up and spray air around the paper path ares to try to clear the sensor. If that doesn't work then go to Epson and see the error codes.

    Now a days printers are not made to be fixed. They are made to be replaced.
