I don't know where you got the notion that it installs Avast and Malwarebytes.  It does not.  I believe PCDecrapifier is a good product; I've seen many favorable comments on it.

sorry I got these 2 programs conflated.
Ninite installs Avast and Malwarebytes among other software.
Is there any downside to Ninite?

      thanks,

I'm not familiar with Ninite but, based on what I see at http://ninite.com/, it only installs what want it to install.  So, what's your issue with Avast and Malwarebytes?  By the way, Avast and Malwarebytes are both good products.

Is there any downside to Ninite?
      Don't know, never used it.

Ninite is what she is referring to...
And as an app i don't see it's usefulness...
It basically scavenges approx. 40 freeware apps and installs them for you.
Not something i would do myself.

        Hi
the reason I asked about ninite is I came across it, and it says it installs programs, so I thot it would be easier to use it to install for ex Advast and Malwarebyte - than by me installing.
        What is malwarebyte anyway?
Basically I thot ninite wd make things easier for me. I know for many it is a snap to install this or that, but for me - if the installation does not proceed perfectly, then I am stuck, and have to ask someone a question as to what to do next.

Malwarebytes is an anti-malware scanning program and worth having.

In that case, Ninite might be helpful for you.

You little shortcuts in typing are a bit confusing. Is the highlighted phrase above supposed to be,
"it would be easier to use it to install, for example, Advast and Malwarebyte"?  If so, why would you be thinking of installing Malwarebytes when you don't even know what it is?
