    Blank monitor

    I upgraded the RAM, but it was not compatible. I heard 3 beeps which it is the sign of memory failure. After reinstalling the original memory chip thye monitor does not want to come up. Any suggestions?

      shloime , You will need to provide a great deal more information. As an example is this a Texas Instruements T-81 computer? truenorth

        try clean the RAM with a white eraser and then place it again

          use a clean erasier for cleaning the TIP on the RAM on the yellow.... always apply ESD

          And what does "always apply ESD" mean ? ?
