Error messege disc has sto low of space

I am trying to download movies into my Sony Vaio. OS XP. I keep getting an error messege saying that the disk space is too low. Is there a way to fix this? sindiroman

If in fact there isn't enough space on the drive then the answer should be self evident - you need to make room by deleting unneeded files.
