    I'm working in my cousins HP Pavilion laptop and it is locked up and won't reboot.  I get a ECDinvisiblewindow running and won't terminate.  Does anyone know what this is?  Thanks for any suggestions

    Seems like it may be a pretty old machine...the references out there date from 2003 to '05 approx.....and there's not much info on fixing it either.
