Entrenched Cookies
« on: January 23, 2010, 08:12:23 PM »
Hi,
I am having a problem getting rid of cookies in temporary internet files/browsing history/settings/view files... I recently got a used computer for college, but the previous owner did not properly clear their records and I have so far found and deleted/installed most unwanted info that does not pertain to me. except for some embedded tracking cookies that I would like to delete. can anyone tell me why they are not deleting, and how can I clear them, please ???

Thank You,
BenQ Computer novice and new student

Cookies are insignificant and not to be worried about...
However that being said if you really want to get rid of them DLoad install update and run CCleaner...

Cookies can actually be a good thing.  I'm not sure why some people are so paranoid about them.

How ever if you got a computer from someone else, none of their cookies will really mean anything to you or do any good for you.  And CCleaner will wipe out all of the old cookies.
