    ateQuestion about routers
    « on: January 25, 2010, 05:46:54 AM »
I am hard wired into a cheap Belkin router.  My modem and service state that I should get up to 10Mbps but am only getting around 4 or 5.  When I hard wire directly to modem, I do get good speed.  Can someone recommend a good router that can handle this speed for me?

I've used Netgear routers for years and prefer them.  Which is not to say that Linksys or other name-brand routers aren't as good.
