laptop black screen

hello every one,,my hp laptop,,,with window vista home edition,got a black screen,,turn on but not bop up from anywere,,it doesn't even give me a window logo,,or any sound,,just a black screen,,help,thanks

I don't use Vista but I'll ask you if you have tried -Booting up with your
Vista CD and doing a System Restore? Look for and follow directions.
