is it possible to put passwords on a folder?

Yes, but without altering the nature of the folder (ie, .zip) you need to use a 3rd party utility.

    1.  If you have Windows XP Pro, you can use Microsoft's Encrypting File System (EFS) within an NTFS partition; although I don't necessarily recommend it.  If some helpful person "resets" your password, you may never get your data back.

      Use gatekeeper I like it, There also other good software available you can use any of them.
