The adobe flash player is no longer supported on windows 98. Is there an alternative that I can download?

The newest does not support the oldest

Flash Player 10 is not  for Windows 98
Did you try any older version?
    Flash Player 9.  http://www.adobe.com/go/kb406791

Flash still works on Win98...your statement is innaccurate at best.

Yes Flash Player 9.0.47.0 will still run on Win9x/ME. Now there used to be two versions an IE and non-IE. I don't know which browser you are using?

You will find that you can't use YouTube with Flash Player 9.0 installed.  ;)

It's a lie. You can use YouTube with flash player 7+. I use Flash player 9 on a Windows XP machine downstairs since the new one freezes my PC/
