What version of Office are you using?  What model is your printer?

I have Office 2007 and created a test page in Excel for landscape printing and it worked.  Perhaps stating step by step how you're doing this would help.

I presume you first click the Office button in the upper left corner of Excel, right?  And, then you point to Print?  Are you going to the Preview screen to see how it looks there?  Then, what?

On the preview page or the view I can set the blue lines to manually move the page boundries and then use the orientation tab to set Landscape

So, on the Preview, you have the box for Show Margins checked, right?  By the way, my Preview screen shows black lines, not blue ones.  So, I hope we're talking about the same lines.  If you uncheck the box for Show Margins, those "blue" lines disappear, right?

Also, I do not have an "orientation tab".  If I click Page Setup on the Preview screen, I have the option to select Landscape orientation on the Page tab.   Can you tell me exactly where the "orientation tab" is?

With you now, on the preview screen your correct, margin lines are black on will click on and off.
The orintation tab is directly under the Page Layout Tab in excel

Let's define tab to mean the parts of a dialog or setup screen that can be selected by clicking on it. In the case of the Page Setup screen, four tabs (Page, Margins, Header/Footer, and Sheet) appear at top.  Orientation, by this definition is not a tab but simply a section on the Page tab.

Does your Page tab look like this:

If not, how is it different?

Yes my screen looks like that.
The Orientation I was refering to is on the main Excel workbook page under Layout Tab

OK, so, if you open Print Preview, does it display the sheet in landscape mode?

Is this a large file you're working with?  Has it ever printed in landscape view?

I have attached a simple test file. It is set for landscape view.  Open it on your computer and immediately display Print Preview.  Does it display in landscape view?

I'll be away from my computer much of this afternoon and evening.  If anyone else has any suggestions, please chime in.
