I've got an old Compaq  and I'd like to have a CD writer,
will it work even if  my processor is a 386?

What are the requirements that the Burner needs, and what are your FULL PC Specs?

I don't have specs on CD-RW, haven't bought one yet.  As far as the PC I opened it up and the processor :
AGP set
FW82443BX
F848VB95
SL2T5
Intel '97

Actually, I'm not so interested in the processor... I want your FULL system specs... Do this.. Click on Start -> Run... Type   dxdiag   ... Press enter... You may now see a small gray box... Click on yes... You should now see a large gray box, displaying your system information... Mind telling me what information is provided there?
