Its a windows XP and a PC system.
What more info do you need?
        Thanks!

Hey, pardon me for butting in here...trying to help you get some responses/aid...

Actually, folks everywhere will need LOTS MORE INFO before they can even begin to try and help you with your issue.

          - OS
          - Video Card make/model
          - Current screen resolution settings
          - Monitor make/models
          - More specific details as to EXACTLY what is happening
          - Possibly what type of connector between pc/video card and the monitors
          - And if you can, a screenshot of the problem - a picture is priceless

Without details like the above, it's like you have a headache, then go to the doctor and asking them what's wrong with you without providing any further info...

          Just a well-intentioned tip.

          cheers and good luck,

The desktop is probably on auto-arrange. Right click your desktop and select "Arrange Icons By". Make sure "Auto-arrange" is unchecked, and if that doesn't work, try locking your web icons on the desktop (via the same method as unchecking auto-arrange).
