mouse stop working correctly
« on: February 27, 2010, 12:14:19 AM »
I installed Win 7 when I got my new motherboard and CPU, it was fine unit when my mouse was kinda like lagging when I was playing game, I first thought it was the game but now I saw it was on the desktop too, I have no clue what happen when I changed to Win 7 I did reinstall the whole computer.

Before I had Win XP 32-bit and on that it worked just fine but when I changed to Win 7 64-bit it just started to do that lag thingy, if I shake it roughly it disappear for a time but it will comeback after a while.

The mouse is Cordless Desktop® MX™ 5500 Revolution I did install the 64-bit Win 7 drivers, It's fully updated, I have reinstall it but it didn't work. I don't think it's the mouse but I will install it to a other computer when I get time to it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure that answers the question. Did you specifically install the chipset driver?

Ok, I don't know why but I think it's gone now...

I went crazy because the mouse just wouldn't aim at the enemy's head so I ran out and got my old mouse. then I connect it but I had to restart my computer to use it so I kept playing whit the new one and now it seems like it's gone.

It's been 2 hours and I haven't got any lag yet. so I think it's working now, I will replay if it come back
