    I cannot seem to login to my laptop. I thougt the battery was flat so i connected it to the power but nothing happened. What are the probable causes? Please i need help so i can try solve the problem.

      Try the safemode.  Hold F8 down as you boot.
      A menu will appear. Choose  the safe mode with a command prompt.

      At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, and then press ENTER.

        So, the laptop power LED stayed off?
