hd partition problem

I have a hard drive that was used for Win XP.  I partitioned it and then loaded Windows 7.  I want to delete the XP partition and merge the two partitions back into one hard drive.  Disk manager does not let me format the XP partition or give me a choice of merging them.  Any help would be appreciated.

You will probably need something like EASEUS Partition Manager, it's free and works quite well.
