tech trouble

my computer is only a few months old. when its plugged in, it says 100% charged, and works fine. but if i unplug it, then it wont turn on. i have bought a new battery, hoping that it would help, but it didnt.  please help lol. there is no reason to have a laptop if i cant take it on the road. thank you

Well if its only a few months old.... If I were you I would save all the data that I had placed on the laptop and return it for one that functions correctly.

As you mentioned it is few months old and you are facing problem, you could if there is any problem in installing battery.
Check the battery connector. You can also check with the compute rmanufacturer, because your computer might be under warrenty. So contact your computer manufacturer for more details.
