    SATA/USB adaptor
    « on: July 14, 2010, 09:10:30 AM »
I recently got an SATA/USB adaptor to back up old hard disks. The adaptor works fine for one disk, but another--the one I really need--keeps saying it is "inaccessible" because the "parameter is incorrect." Is there anything I can do?

      Specifically:

      1) Brand name of the SATA to USB adapter.
      2) Does the non-working disk work when it's plugged into any other PC via the SATA to USB adapter?
      3) Does the non-working disk work when connected directly to another PC's SATA or IDE port?
