searching for the best flash cms company, or something better
« on: December 22, 2010, 10:49:14 AM »
hello,

i'm new to Computer Hope.  i've searched the site for my question, and have read the faq's, example, and guidelines re posting.

i'd like to create my first websites, about 5-10 simple ones all using the same company.

i'm a non-coder, and prefer a drag-&-drop wysiwyg environment.  my content will hopefully be very artistic.

i won't need much in the way of seo or 2-way communication.  the sites are mainly to invite my friends to check out my art and ideas.

i've been looking for the best free (or low-cost) website-builder companies to work with.  in so doing, it seems to me that most of them are based on html, where the 'unit of work' is the page.  on the other hand, some are based on flash, where the unit of work is the media element within the page.  this seems to make the flash approach much more customizable, which is what i'm looking for.

if this is right so far, then my question is: what is/are the best free (or low-cost) flash cms company to work with?  i've started playing with Wix and am enjoying it, but i'd like to see if there is anything better (either flash or something else) before i start entering my content.

any input would be appreciated.  i'll attach some examples of my work to give you a feeling for the kind of cms that might be a fit with it.

thanks!

Is this SPAM?

If you had looked around, you would have found:
http://1and1.com
- OR -
http://netfirms.com
And there was homestead, not sure if they are still working.
http://www.homestead.com/
When you click on it you near a spooky voice. Sounds like a 1958 TV show.
