Carbon Dioxide exhaust makes cyclic carbonate.

Research in South Korea indicates it could be economical to extract CO2 from exhaust and turn intro a useful industrial chemicals. Cyclic carbonate is a base for polymers for cars and electronics. Other chemicals can also be made.

If so, that means the world would not have to give up fossil fuel altogether.

The article also mentions food additives.  Can you imagine?  :D
