I just put in two new pieces of hardware; a hd6870 and a ocz 1000w power supply. I had been using a 520w power supply and the onboard graphics before this. Everything seemed fine for about a week and then I woke up one morning to find my pc off. The power button on the front and the other directly on the motherboard didn't respond. After pulling the plug and waiting a couple minutes for the light in back to go off then plugging it back in it would turn on. About 2-3 days later the same happened and then again today, which was another couple days after last. I was around to catch it doing this and felt all the components in my pc and everything is rather cold, except the cpu which feels rather hot. The heatsink is the one that came bundled with the cpu, so it's not too beefy. Obviously I'm suspicious that this is a heating issue, but I was hoping I could get some more experienced opinions and suggestions.
