      i enabled it
and now when i click the button it responds
but its still not showing up on the device list and it wont turn on it just says WLAN is disabled
everytime i try to click it

You got extremely lucky that swapping a drive from her machine to yours would even boot...
Are you just going to keep her hard drive ? ? Or will you be returning it ?

Just wanted to make sure as this procedure would have buggered it for use in her machine...

Re-install all the drivers from your laptop Driver CD...
        MBoard chipset drivers go 1st...

Then travel to the laptop manuf. site...search by your Model# and OS...

all the drivers because you do not have any drivers present.

The BIOS has nothing to do with your issue...you need ALL the drivers installed for everything to work properly.
