    hello can any body explain to me y my computer hangs-up (decreases  speed) after installing recovery console..but after i installed windows installer 3.1 (kb893803) it is now ok

    What do you mean by "hangs up?" Do you mean random crashes while using the computer?

    Installing the recovery console has zero effect on the performance of Windows - it will only slow the loading time by the time you have the option to boot to the recovery console display at startup. EXACTLY what are the issues you are having?
