I have the same persons name on different worksheets. What I want to do is when I enter data next to that person on the first work sheet, I want to automatically be copied onto ther other worksheets of the person with the same name. I hope this is clear.

All all the sheets in the same book?
Have you looked at the on-line documentation about worksheet inks?

It is in the same work book. I checked the link. I must have overlooked it. It suggests something about link cells.

Do the cells in the other sheets with person names remain in a constant location in those sheets?

See http://vitamincm.com/excel-link-cells-tutorial/.  I think it will be more helpful than the reference previously posted.
